On June 20, 2009, I will be premiering new prints from the "Blues Series" along side new paintings and mixed media pieces in the "Tribe Series" from Los Angeles-based artist Brad Reyes. A sneak peak at some of the new work below:
Edna Boksenbaum’s formal art education was at Columbia College and at the School of the Art Institute in Chicago. She has been actively showing her work since 1990. Edna furthered her training at the International School of Art in Italy, the Repin Institute in St. Petersburg, Russia, and through an artist’s residency at the Vermont Studio Center. Her creative process begins with intensive observation of the subject for her drawn or painted image, and the actual artwork is then painted from her own distinct, highly personal and emotional point of view.
More About Brad (aka Sculptorreyes)
The work of Brad Reyes reflects his intense, singular focus on a setting, object, or idea that has deeply, often subconsciously, moved him. And this singular fascination can last for years at a time, and be explored in a wide variety of media and dimensions. The breadth of his artistic experience and expression over the past eight years bears witness to his process. To see more of Brad's work, please visit www.sustainablecreations.net.
